This statement explains Elegant Tools' optional product analytics and the limits placed around it. No login is required, and calculator inputs and results stay on your device.

What this policy covers

This policy covers optional product analytics on the public Elegant Tools website and calculators. We use those insights only to understand usage, improve reliability and make the product easier to use.

A small, anonymous signal

We analyze general interaction patterns to improve usefulness, performance and ease of use.

Product use

Calculator opens, completions and return use—without inputs, scores or results.

Experience quality

Active time, completion, copy actions and basic device context help us find friction and compatibility issues.

Coarse location

Country and broad region help us understand reach. We do not collect GPS or exact location.

Your clinical work stays private

Elegant Tools does not need to know who you are or what you calculate. The analytics layer is deliberately separated from calculator data.

No login, account or user profile is needed
Calculator entries and dates stay in your browser
Scores and calculated results are not collected or saved
No session replay, typed-text capture or advertising profile
Analytics data is not sold or shared for advertising
No precise location or raw IP address is retained in analytics

How analytics is handled

If you opt in, cookieless events are processed by PostHog Cloud EU only to provide product analytics. Elegant Tools does not create person profiles, keep raw IP addresses in its analytics dataset or disclose analytics for advertising.

Your choice and questions

Analytics stays off until you allow it. Declining changes nothing about the calculators, and you can change your choice at any time from the Privacy control at the bottom right. For a privacy question or request, use Feedback and do not include patient information.
